Hi, I’m Debra, owner and lead Wedding and Event Curator of Avenue 8 Events LLC.
A native of the beautiful island of Jamaica, I have always been the go to person of my family and friends to organize and arrange parties and events. My creative journey began through the planning and coordination of my own wedding in 1998. It was during this process that I realized that I wanted to turn my passion into a profession.
For almost 2 decades, I have developed and perfected my skills while working at a variety of premier hotels and country clubs both in Jamaica and South Florida. It is through a desire to achieve and maintain a high level of standard and service that Avenue 8 Events was born.

What We do
At Avenue 8 Events, our main purpose is to remove all stresses that are synonymous with wedding and event planning by completely taking control of the process, while incorporating your unique styles, visions and budget. And yes, we are going to have a lot of fun along with way!
